A fire (bonfire) is a common memory of many trips to the lake. These memories inspired the creation of oil lamps and candles.
Oil lamps were my first foray fire projects. I started by making cairn stone stacks with hidden container of lamp oil.
Another oil lamp option that I’ve developed is similar to the essential oil diffusers, with the use of lamp oil and a copper tube to accent and hide the wick.
I’ve also had projects of gel wax candles with stone embeds. The use of wood wicks creates the sound of a bonfire. Add that with light scents such as sandalwood, cedar, and pine and you are transported to the north shore! These are available upon request.
